How The Story Of Pro Golfer Bryson DeChambeau Can Help You Win More Clients.

I want to tell you a story that proves that goal setting and understanding mechanics is critical if you want to win more new clients for your business by growing your online audience. This story is important because it could mean the difference between your business succeeding wildly or failing miserably.

Here's what happened ......

Bryson DeChambeau was born in Modesto California in 1993 and had a very successful amateur golfing career. After finishing tied for 21st place in the 2016 Masters he turned professional. He continued his winning ways which lead to some significant prize money earnings.

Even at this early stage of his career he had developed a reputation for analysing every part of the game which included him using bespoke clubs with “fatter” grips and same length shafts. Not to mention a level of dedication that still blows minds.

But the killer move?

By understanding the mechanics of the golf swing and how important swing speed was to determines distance Bryson set about re-inventing himself AND the game of golf.

He understood that by simply increasing his swing speed he would hit the ball further which would leave him taking shorter approach shots to the greens and increase his chances of shooting ever lower scores.

Bryson used the COVID19 golf tour break to great advantage and set about increasing his muscle mass to increase power. He had already added 20 pounds and during the break he added another 20 pounds!

And the result?

On July 5 2020, DeChambeau won the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit, Michigan, by three strokes over Matthew Wolff. In the final round, DeChambeau shot a 7-under 65 at Detroit Golf Club, making birdies at four of the first seven holes and closing with three more consecutive birdies. He finished at a career-best 23-under 265. DeChambeau came into the week with six straight top-eight finishes and was the only player with top-10s in the first three events after the restart from the coronavirus.

In August 2020, DeChambeau briefly held a share of the lead during the final round of the PGA Championship; he went on to finish in a tie for fourth place, his first top-10 finish in a major championship. Six weeks later, at the 120th U.S. Open at Winged Foot, he came from two strokes behind at the start of the final round to win his first major championship. It will not be his last.

There were many doubters including fellow pros and golf pundits but ultimately the physics and science behind the decisions Bryson made were based on fact and as such oh how wrong they were!!!

He has become one of the world’s elite golfers AND …….

He has pioneered a completely new style of golf technique and approach to the game THAT WORKS.

Now here's your BIG takeaway from all this...

  • By understanding the mechanics of Social Media you too CAN reap the rewards.

  • Forget everything you have read before.

  • Successful marketers are not born. It's a learning process.

  • Successful marketing strategies are MADE by humans.

However, there are some crucial things to keep in mind as you apply this lesson to your situation which include:

  • Believe in yourself.

  • Believe in the products, services and solutions you provide.

  • Learn one technique until it's ingrained and then move onto the next.

  • Master one Social Media platform first.

  • Replicate success on to other Social Media platforms.

NOW, there’s a lot more I want to tell you about this, and what I’ve told you is just the tip of the iceberg. My own learning started over 30 years ago so I have a lot more to share!
